					<description>I watched it again this year, too, and also Miracle on 34th St., which my husband was seeing for the first time. There's a sense of what in my more cynical moments I call naivete and in my better moments I call hope in all of these movies... you leave them thinking that maybe we *can* make the world a better place.

It's not such a bad feeling with which to begin a new year! Peace to all this new year's eve, and best wishes for a hope-filled 2007 --
