Books, books, and more books!

As Shelby said when she first heard about Book Expo, “it’s like going to Disney World.” And indeed it is if you’re into books and all things having to do with books. What is “it”? Book Expo America, of course! This year’s annual BEA trade show will be held in the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan. I’ve heard that it’s a six-mile walk to cover the floor. What I’m not clear about is whether that’s in one direction, up and down the aisles, or what. But I guess I’ll find out! *Everyone,* though, down to the last person, cautions about wearing comfortable shoes, so that might be my answer right there!
