The countdown has begun. And I’ve already misplaced my identification badge and made two simultaneous appointments for Saturday, which means that we’re just about par for the course right now.
I have to publicly issue tremendous thanks to Steve Hultquist, who has volunteered to be the guest host of The World of Publishing while I’m away at the Bucharest Book Festival over the next two weeks. I interviewed Jules Kennedy (Open Your Heart with Singing) this past Monday and understand that Steve already has Elfreda Praetorius lined up for one of his two shows — well done, Steve, and please share the experience here!
Honestly, the most difficult thing about doing the show is, oddly enough, *remembering* it! Coming toward the end of the day as it does, I’ve often looked at a clock and realized, “Oh, no, I’m on in twenty minutes!” But that’s one of the good things about broadcasting from home…
The DreamTime authors are doing very well on the show and I’m proud of you all. And I’ll be very proud indeed to spend time at the DreamTime booth and tell others about you (and me!) as well.
I have no idea what kind of Internet connectivity I’ll have in Romania, so I may or may not be blogging next week. But I’ll be back ….!
